I love a true Confederate Bowie or D-Guards knife, but there are lots of fakes and reproductions on the market.  I have listed some fakes, which I have seen for sale on the internet.  

As with all Confederate blades, ask what the inspection/return policy is before you invest in one of these knives.

 Do not be afraid to walk away from a knife, because its better to be safe then sorry!
